Teen Boy Killed in Brutal Hit-and-Run Crash on Rosecrans Avenue [Lawndale, CA]

1 Dead in Lawndale Electric Scooter Accident on Rosecrans Avenue

LAWNDALE, CA (July 26, 2026) – Last Monday, a teen boy died in a brutal hit-and-run crash on Rosecrans Avenue.

The incident happened last July 20th, at about 10:14 p.m. in the 4200 Rosecrans Avenue.

Deputies found two teenage victims at the scene. The 15-year-old scooter rider was pronounced dead, while a second teen riding an electric bicycle suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The driver fled before authorities arrived. Investigators said they do not yet have identifying information about the suspect vehicle.
