RESEDA, CA (August 24, 2025) – Friday night, a man died in a brutal hit-and-run crash on Victory Boulevard near Belmar Avenue killed 1.

The incident involving a hit-and-run SUV happened on Victory Boulevard near Belmar Avenue, a few blocks west of Tampa Avenue.

Police said a man in his 30s was killed after being struck by a black compact SUV while exiting the driver’s side of his parked vehicle on Victory Boulevard. The SUV veered right, hit the man, and continued west before turning north onto Corbin Avenue.

Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
