ALBUQUERQUE, NM (June 30, 2026) – Saturday, a person died in a brutal moped crash near Carlisle Boulevard NE and Montgomery Boulevard NE.

The incident involving a moped and a vehicle happened at about 8:10 p.m. near Carlisle Boulevard NE and Montgomery Boulevard NE.

Police said officers responded to reports of the collision. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following the crash, officers closed the area to traffic while investigators processed the scene. Police also requested additional equipment after the victim was found lying near the roadway.
