2 People Dead in Phoenix Motorcycle Accident near 7th Avenue and Interstate 17

PHOENIX, AZ (November 30, 2025) – Friday night, a brutal motorcycle crash near 7th Avenue and Interstate 17 left two people dead.

The incident happened at around 11:00 p.m. near 7th Avenue and Interstate 17.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, two motorcycles collided for still unknown reasons. Then, the crash resulted in a fight between the two motorcyclists that ended with one of the motorcyclists shooting the other. The shooting victim was revealed later to be Scott Kikes.

Moreover, a car driver witnessed the shooting and intentionally struck the shooter with his car. The individual that was struck and killed was identified as Job Martinez.

Furthermore, responders rushed both motorcyclists to a hospital, where both were later pronounced dead. The shooter was identified as Job Martinez, while the other rider was identified as Scott Kikes.

Meanwhile, officers detained the car driver, but he was later released pending further investigation.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Phoenix Police Department continued investigating the fatal crash.
