1 Dead in Albuquerque Motorcycle Accident near Menaul Boulevard and Jane Street NE

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (April 14, 2025) – Saturday afternoon, a brutal motorcycle crash near Menaul Boulevard and Jane Street NE killed 1 person.

The incident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. near Menaul Boulevard and Jane Street NE.

Officers with the Foothills Area Command, along with Albuquerque Fire Rescue’s Engine 9 and Rescue 9, responded to the scene. Police Service Aides and Metro Security were requested to assist with traffic control. A driver in the area reported that Menaul west of Juan Tabo was closed.

The public is being asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while the Albuquerque Police Department’s Motor Unit investigates. APD says additional details will be shared as they become available.
