LAKEWOOD, CA (June 25, 2023) – Saturday morning, a brutal motorcycle crash on 605 Freeway and South Street killed 1 person.

According to authorities, the crash took place around 3:20 a.m. on the southbound lanes of the freeway, just north of South Street. The California Highway Patrol was alerted to the incident.

Emergency paramedics were swiftly dispatched to the scene at 3:19 a.m. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist was pronounced deceased upon their arrival. Meanwhile, two other individuals were immediately rushed to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center for treatment.
