1 Dead in San Jose Motorcycle Accident on Branham Lane and Jarvis Avenue

SAN JOSE, CA (September 28, 2025) – Thursday night, a brutal motorcycle crash on Branham Lane and Jarvis Avenue killed 1 person.

The incident happened just before 8:30 p.m. on Branham Lane and Jarvis Avenue.

Officers said the rider, an adult, was taken to a hospital with major injuries and later pronounced dead. A juvenile passenger from the other vehicle involved was also hospitalized but is expected to survive.

The driver of that vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

As of 8:45 p.m., Branham Lane between Robb Drive and Jarvis Avenue was closed in both directions for several hours while police investigated. Drivers were urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
