1 Dead in Hesperia Motorcycle Accident on Seventh Avenue near Eton Court

HESPERIA, CA (August 23, 2026) – Friday night, a rider died in a brutal motorcycle crash on Seventh Avenue near Eton Court.

The incident happened at around 6:50 p.m. on Seventh Avenue near Eton Court, where the roadway curves.

Emergency personnel responded to a collision involving an SUV and a motorcycle, where the rider was found in the roadway with critical injuries.

The rider was transported to a hospital but was later pronounced dead, according to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Gloria Orejel.

Moreover, the crash involved a 2001 Toyota RAV4 and a blue Suzuki motorcycle. Reports confirmed that the RAV4 sustained significant damage to its driver-side front corner, while the motorcycle was heavily damaged.

Preliminary information indicated the motorcyclist crossed the double yellow lines and struck the front driver-side of the RAV4.

Seventh Avenue was closed in both directions for about three hours while deputies investigated the crash. The rider’s identity had not been released.

The investigation remains ongoing.
