1 Dead in Houston Motorcycle Accident on Woodway Drive at Post Oak

HOUSTON, TX (March 5, 2026) – Tuesday night, an 18-year-old rider died in a brutal motorcycle crash on Woodway Drive at Post Oak.

The incident occurred just before 9:20 p.m. on Woodway Drive at Post Oak.

Witnesses told the Houston Police Department that a motorcyclist was speeding along Woodway and weaving through traffic before the crash. Investigators said the 18-year-old struck the passenger side of an SUV that was turning onto Post Oak.

Police said the motorcycle had been traveling at a high speed and had gone around several vehicles before colliding with the SUV. The rider died at the scene.

The SUV driver was not seriously injured.
