Brutal Multi-Car Crash on Highway 65 Injures 5 People [Livingston County, MO]

Livingston County, MO (May 30, 2025) – 5 people were hurt and hospitalized Wednesday morning after a multi-car crash on Highway 65.

According to authorities, the frightening crash happened in a construction zone on U.S. Highway 65 at around 9 a.m.

Reports say that a three-vehicle collision injured five people this morning, four of them seriously.

Authorities say that a 51-year-old woman from Chillicothe drove a van that rear-ended two stopped vehicles — an SUV driven by a 41-year-old Albany woman and a van operated by a 38-year-old woman from Danville, Kentucky — in the southbound lanes, three miles south of Chillicothe.

The impact spun the Kentucky van counterclockwise, causing it to strike the Chillicothe van’s rear driver-side door before veering off the east side of the highway.

The Chillicothe driver and three passengers from the Kentucky van — a woman of unknown age, a one-year-old girl, and an infant girl from Stanford, Kentucky — suffered serious injuries and were transported to hospitals in Kansas City. A 30-year-old Stanford man sustained moderate injuries and received treatment at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.
