Man Killed in Brutal Multi-Vehicle Crash on East 58th Avenue

1 Dead in Denver Multi-Vehicle Accident on East 58th Avenue

DENVER, CO (April 5, 2026) – Saturday morning, a 30-year-old man died in a brutal multi-vehicle crash on East 58th Avenue.

The incident happened at about 3:42 a.m. on East 58th Avenue and Interstate 25.

Investigators said a Chevrolet Trax collided with a Mitsubishi Outlander, and moments later, a Mercedes-Benz C43 struck people who had gotten out of the Chevy.

Two people from the Trax were injured in the second crash. A 30-year-old man later died at the hospital, while a 20-year-old suffered serious injuries.

The 27-year-old driver of the Mercedes was also taken to a hospital, though the extent of his injuries was not immediately known. The driver of the Mitsubishi was not injured.

Traffic was diverted as far back as 38th Avenue and Park Avenue. All lanes were reopened by about 8:40 a.m., according to traffic cameras.
