SAN ANTONIO, TX (January 26, 2026) – Sunday morning, a woman died in a brutal pedestrian crash near Culebra Road and Esmeralda Drive.
Reports said that the incident happened when a woman was hit while jaywalking at about 12:25 a.m. near Culebra Road and Esmeralda Drive.
A 49-year-old woman was struck and killed by a light-colored truck while crossing Culebra Road outside a crosswalk, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The driver fled the scene and will face a charge of Collision Involving Death.
