1 Dead in Fremont Pedestrian Accident near Fremont Boulevard and Delaware Drive

FREMONT, CA (December 21, 2025) – Early Thursday morning, a person died in a brutal pedestrian crash near Fremont Boulevard and Delaware Drive.

The incident happened at around 4:30 a.m. near Fremont Boulevard and Delaware Drive.

Fremont police said a person riding a bicycle or walking east across Fremont Boulevard was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound near the Delaware Drive intersection.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Police said it was not immediately clear if the person was in a crosswalk at the time of the collision. The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

The driver was not injured, remained at the scene, and cooperated with investigators. Authorities said impairment is not believed to be a factor.

The Fremont Police Department is investigating and asks anyone with information to contact its traffic unit at 510-790-6760.
