LA HABRA, CA (January 29, 2025) – Monday night, a person died in a brutal pedestrian crash on 1200 N Hacienda Road.

The incident happened at about 8:45 a.m. in the 1200 block of N Hacienda Road, said the La Habra Police Department.

Officers responded to a crash where a driver struck two pedestrians. The driver remained at the scene.

Paramedics pronounced one victim dead on-site. Their identity has not yet been released.

The second victim was transported to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.

Authorities have not determined the cause of the collision, but they do not suspect DUI.
