1 Dead in Garden Grove Pedestrian Accident on Chapman Avenue and Euclid Street

GARDEN GROVE, CA (October 1, 2026) – Tuesday afternoon, a 63-year-old man died in a brutal pedestrian crash on Chapman Avenue and Euclid Street.

The incident happened at about 3:48 p.m. on Chapman Avenue, west of Euclid Street.

A man died after being struck by a Chevrolet Suburban on Chapman Avenue, according to police.

Responding officers found the victim and provided medical assistance until Orange County Fire Department paramedics arrived. He was taken to UCI Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.

The Suburban driver remained at the scene and cooperated with detectives from the Neighborhood Traffic Unit, who are investigating the crash.
