ARLINGTON, TX (May 28, 2025) – Sunday morning, a brutal pedestrian crash on Interstate 20 near Matlock Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 5:15 a.m. on westbound Interstate 20 near the Matlock Road overpass.

According to the Arlington Police, a westbound vehicle struck a female pedestrian who entered the road near the overpass.

Moreover, responders pronounced the victim, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, officers confirmed that the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.
