ALBUQUERQUE, NM (July 17, 2025) – Tuesday night, a brutal pedestrian crash on Pan American Freeway near Jefferson killed one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 11:00 p.m. on Pan American Freeway near Jefferson.

According to the Albuquerque Police Department, a vehicle struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, the Albuquerque Fire and Rescue pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Furthermore, the crash closed the Pan American Freeway at the 25 Way but has long since reopened.
