1 Dead in Aurora Pedestrian Accident on S Peoria Street and E Tennessee Avenue

AURORA, CO (September 30, 2026) – Friday night, a man died in a brutal pedestrian crash on S Peoria Street and E Tennessee Avenue.

The incident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian happened at 8:15 p.m. near South Peoria Street and East Tennessee Avenue.

A 35-year-old Aurora man was killed after being struck by two vehicles while crossing Peoria Street, according to police.

Police said the man was crossing the street mid-block just south of Tennessee Avenue when he was struck by a southbound vehicle. The impact sent him into the northbound lanes, where he was struck by a second vehicle traveling north.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers remained at the scene and are cooperating with the investigation.

The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office will release the man’s identity.
