IRVING, TX (April 14, 2026) – Saturday night, Jeremy Danilo Cruz-Sorto died in a brutal pedestrian crash on State Highway 183 and Belt Line Road.

The incident happened on State Highway 183 and Belt Line Road.

Reports confirmed that the crash involved a white Mercedes-Benz and a silver 2000 Lexus ES 300, each driven by a male who was the only occupant of his vehicle.

The Lexus driver suffered critical injuries and had to be freed from the wreckage. A witness said the driver appeared to be unconscious. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Mercedes-Benz sustained minor injuries and was also transported by ambulance.

The Apple Valley Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash. No further details were immediately released.
