Anderson, CA (November 25, 2023) On Thursday evening, minor injuries were reported after a rear-end crash on Highway 273.

According to the Anderson Police Department (APD), the hit-and-run collision happened around 6 p.m. at the intersection of Hwy 273 and Factory Outlets Drive.

Reports say that a pickup truck crashed into the back of a white sedan, officials say that the pickup driver fled the scene on foot, towards the Manzanita Hills Apartments on Spruce Street.

Officials described the suspect as a white man in his 60s with a grey beard, green army jacket, black hat.

Medics say that no significant injuries were reported in the incident.

Police are investigating the hit-and-run collision.
