1 Dead in St Joseph Auto Accident on Interstate 29 at 35 Mile Marker

ST JOSEPH, MO (June 15, 2026) – Saturday morning, a 34-year-old Joseph man died in a brutal single-vehicle crash on Interstate 29 at 35 Mile Marker.

The incident involving a single vehicle and several juveniles happened on Interstate 29 at the 35-mile marker.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a St. Joseph man was driving a 2004 Ford Expedition southbound on Interstate 29 when the rear driver-side tire blew out.

The driver lost control of the vehicle, which traveled off the west side of the roadway and overturned multiple times before coming to rest on its roof facing northwest.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
