ROBERTSVILLE, MO (December 31, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, a brutal single-vehicle crash on Route O near Woods Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 1:00 p.m. on Route O near Woods Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an eastbound vehicle veered off the roadway for still unknown reasons. Then, the driver of the vehicle turned back left on the roadway, crossed the center line, overcorrected, veered off the right side of the roadway, and struck a utility pole and tree before rolling over onto its side.

Moreover, responders rushed a 19-year-old female passenger of the vehicle to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the MSHP continued investigating the crash.
