WALNUT, CA (April 1, 2024) – Sunday, a brutal speeding crash on Alta Sierra Road and Amar Road killed 1 person.

Los Angeles County Fire Department crews responded to Alta Sierra Road and Amar Road a little before 12:45.

Reports revealed that a 29-year-old man was declared dead at the scene. His identity remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.

Officers said that speed was a factor in the crash, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

One car appeared to be split into two pieces by the force of the impact.
