1 Dead in Lincoln Auto Accident on Lincoln Boulevard

LINCOLN, MO (September 9, 2025) – Monday morning, a person died in a brutal tractor-trailer crash on Lincoln Boulevard.

The incident involving a vehicle vs. tractor-trailer happened just after 10:00 a.m. near the entrance to the Streling Pointe shopping center on Lincoln Boulevard.

Lincoln Police Department said an SUV and a fully loaded tractor-trailer were involved in the crash. The SUV sustained major front-end damage, requiring an extensive extrication to remove the driver.

The SUV driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the tractor-trailer driver was uninjured, according to police.

Northbound Lincoln Boulevard is expected to remain closed for about two hours as crews clear the area and investigators work to determine the cause of the crash.

The identity of the man who died is being withheld pending the investigation.
