24-Year-Old Bryce Roach Killed in Crash at West 7th and Central City Road in Jasper County

Jasper County, MO (February 8, 2026) – 24-year-old Bryce Roach died following a serious crash at West 7th Street and Central City Road on Sunday evening.

Jasper County Coroner James Harrison identified the victim as Bryce Roach of Joplin, Missouri.

According to officials, the crash occurred around 6:40 p.m., prompting E-911 calls reporting a severe motorcycle collision.

Investigators said a 2001 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom was traveling westbound on West 7th Street at highway speeds when it collided with the right rear of a 2017 Lexus RX350 that was traveling northbound on Central City Road.

The impact caused catastrophic damage, splitting the motorcycle into two large pieces.

Emergency responders from Carl Junction Fire, METS Ambulance, and the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was also notified. Roach suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported by METS to a local hospital before being airlifted to Springfield, Missouri, for a higher level of care.

He later died from his injuries.

Rosenberg Recovery and Towing removed the damaged vehicles and debris from the roadway.

The crash remains under investigation.
