Brynn Zoellner Killed in Hesperia Hit-and-Run Collision

Hesperia, CA (March 7, 2026) — Authorities identified 32-year-old Brynn Zoellner of Irvine as the pedestrian who died in a hit-and-run crash Thursday night in Hesperia.

Authorities say that the fatal collision happened around 8:53 p.m. on March 5, 2026, near the intersection of Hesperia Road and Santa Fe Avenue West.

Emergency crews from San Bernardino County Fire responded to the scene and found Zoellner in the southbound lane of Hesperia Road. Sadly, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department arrived shortly afterward and launched an investigation into the crash. Authorities reported that the driver involved fled the area after striking Zoellner.

To allow investigators to examine the scene, Hesperia Public Works crews assisted deputies in closing Hesperia Road and nearby streets leading to the intersection.

Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash as they work to identify the driver responsible.
