82-Year-Old Kersey Man Dead in Greeley Rear-End Crash
Greeley, CO (December 20, 2025) – A Greeley Evans Transit bus driver was injured following a 10th Street deadly crash Tuesday afternoon.
The fatal 4-vehicle crash happened before 3 p.m. at the 4400 block area.
According to the authorities, a 82-year-old Kersey man driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer has rear-ended a GMC Yukon, which then collided with the GET bus.
Troopers said the bus was stopped at an authorized bus stop with the hazard lights activated. The bus was loading and unloading passengers when it was hit.
Immediately, rescuers rushed the 82-year-old man to a hospital but he died the following day.
The bus driver sustained a minor injury and was treated at the hospital and then released. No one on the bus was injured in the collision.
Moreover, the 50-year-old driver and the 75-year-old passenger of the Yukon were taken to the hospital, but were not injured.
The 65-year-old driver of a Nissan Altima that was hit and pushed aside by the Yukon was all not injured.
Investigators determined that the Trailblazer was traveling too fast for conditions and was following too closely.
