DENVER, CO (August 18, 2025) – Saturday night, authorities arrested Calisto Ortega-Uribe after a fatal hit-and-run crash on 3600 North Quebec Street.

The incident happened at around 11:00 p.m. in the 3600 block of North Quebec Street.

According to the Denver Police Department, a vehicle struck a pedestrian, then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the pedestrian died in the crash.

Furthermore, authorities managed to locate and arrest the hit-and-run driver, identified as 49-year-old Ortega-Uribe on suspicion of vehicular homicide.
