Camila Leon of Perris Dead in Rider Street Vehicle Crash [Perris, CA]

Perris, CA (August 17, 2026) – Camila Leon, 8, of Perris, lost her life following a Rider Street vehicle crash Saturday evening.

It was around 5:30 p.m. when the deadly 2-vehicle crash happened at the intersection with Ramona Expressway.

Responding officers found five injured occupants in one of the vehicles, two of them were suffering from life-threatening injuries. 

The driver and the only occupant of the other vehicle also injured.

Immediately, the medical team rushed all the injured parties to hospitals.

Sadly, Leon later died at the hospital, while another juvenile passenger remains in critical condition.
