72-Year-Old Candace Lorraine Rios Fatally Struck on Highway 202 [Bakersfield, CA]

Bakersfield, CA (January 28, 2025) – 72-year-old Candace Lorraine Rios of Tehachapi was fatally struck on Highway 202 Wednesday night.

The fatal traffic crash happened around 9:24 p.m. on January 22 north of Cummings Valley Road.

CHP said Candace Lorraine Rios was hit by a northbound vehicle.

The driver remained at the accident scene and cooperated with the investigation.
