Three Juveniles Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash in Mabton; DUI Suspected

Mabton, WA (July 20, 2026) — Three juveniles died Saturday night after a two-vehicle crash on Green Valley Road in Mabton.

Deputies with the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash near Snipes Pump Road just before 10 p.m.

Investigators said the three juveniles were ejected from a Subaru and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other occupants of the Subaru sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital. The driver of the second vehicle also suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Authorities believe the Subaru’s driver was impaired at the time of the crash and expect to file charges. Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deadly collision.
