Police Declares Passenger Deceased in Amarillo Multi-Vehicle Crash

Amarillo, TX (July 13, 2026) – A car passenger was fatally injured following a SW 15th Avenue collision early Sunday morning.

The authorities responded past 1 a.m. to the multi-vehicle crash near South Georgia Street.

According to the authorities, a passenger car was northbound on S Georgia Street when it failed to stop at a red light at the intersection with SW 15th Avenue.

The car then struck an SUV and pickup truck that were westbound through the intersection

The car drove north and struck another pickup truck on S Georgia Street.

Police responded to the crash scene and declared a passenger in the car deceased.

In the meantime, the Amarillo Police Department Traffic Investigation Unit is conducting a further investigation into the fatal crash.
