Wildomar Resident Carlos Montoya Dead in 60 Freeway Crash

Fatality Reported in Riverside Rollover Crash

Riverside, CA (December 15, 2025) – 33-year-old Carlos Montoya of Wildomar was fatally injured following a 60 Freeway crash Saturday evening.

The deadly vehicle crash happened past 6 p.m. on the eastbound freeway west of Day Street.

According to the authorities, a dark-colored vehicle had run over large debris and damaged it. Afterward, witnesses saw the vehicle sparking and swerving before it overturned in the HOV and No. 1 lane.

There is no information on how many people were in the vehicle, but Riverside Animal Control officers responded to take possession of a dog.

Officers are investigating this fatal crash.
