Catawissa Man Killed in Brutal 3-Vehicle Crash on Highway 94 [St Charles County, CA]

1 Dead and 2 Injured in St Charles County Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 94 and Klondike Park Loop

ST CHARLES COUNTY, CA (May 28, 2025) – Monday, a Catawissa man died in a brutal 3-vehicle crash on Highway 94.

Reports said that the incident involving two motorcycles and a car happened on westbound Highway 94 west of Klondike Park Loop.

Troopers reported that a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by a 26-year-old Lake Saint Louis woman, was heading east when it crossed the center line and struck a westbound 2014 Harley-Davidson Road Glide head-on. 

The impact caused the Road Glide to crash into a second westbound motorcycle, a 2015 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic.

The 60-year-old Catawissa man riding the Road Glide was not wearing safety gear and was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:58 p.m. by St. Charles County Ambulance District personnel. 

The second rider, a 51-year-old man from St. Charles on the Ultra Classic, also without protective equipment, sustained serious injuries and was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake Saint Louis.

The Jetta driver, who had been wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis. All involved vehicles were removed by Superior Towing. 

Troopers from the Major Crash Investigation Unit and additional patrol units responded to assist at the scene.
