Joseph Charles Nock Jr. Injured in Fatal Midland County Crash on FM 1788
Midland County, TX (December 4, 2025) — a driver was hurt and 20-year-old Cayden Andrew McBee of Midland died early Tuesday after a tragic 2-vehicle collision on FM 1788.
According to Texas DPS, McBee was heading north around 6 a.m. when his 2015 Nissan Altima veered out of the northbound lane near mile marker 330. His car struck a southbound 2026 GMC Sierra.
Reports say that McBee, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the GMC driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital. This driver was later identified as Joseph Charles Nock, Jr., 62.
The deadly crash is still under investigation.
