Mesa, AZ (June 29, 2025) — Ceasar Zavala-Sosa was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after police said he caused a fatal two-vehicle crash in Mesa on Friday morning.

According to the Mesa Police Department, officers responded to the collision near Recker Road and Main Street at approximately 9:30 a.m.

Investigators determined that Ceasar Miguel Zavala-Sosa allegedly ran a red light before crashing into another vehicle. The other driver suffered critical injuries and was taken to a hospital, where the victim later died.
