Celeste Garcia, 31, Dead in E-bike Crash on S Lamar Boulevard [Austin, TX]

Austin, TX (September 25, 2026) – Celeste Garcia, 31, was killed in an e-bike crash on S Lamar Boulevard Wednesday morning.

It was before 10 a.m. when the traffic crash happened at the 1700 block area.

Police said Garcia was riding an e-bike that was hit by a vehicle pulling a trailer on the southbound lanes of the freeway.

Immediately, rescuers arrived and rushed Garcia to an area hospital, where she was declared deceased at 10:38 a.m.

The involved driver, who was not impaired, remained at the crash scene and cooperated with the officers.
