Driver in the Hit-And-Run Crash on Tilton Avenue Identified as Cesar Barillas Aguilar

 
San Mateo, CA (January 1, 2021) -Friday morning, a 68-year-old man sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Tilton Avenue and North Humboldt Street.
 
Subsequently, the driver turned himself in to San Mateo Police on Friday evening. San Mateo police identified him as 28-year-old Cesar Barillas Aguilar.
 
Moreover, the San Mateo crash happened at 9:33 a.m. on January 1.
 
According to reports, the driver fled after striking the bicyclist. The victim was immediately transported to a trauma center, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.
