Cesar Ramirez Castro Arrested in I-10 Deadly DUI Crash [Arlington, TX]

Arlington, TX (March 24, 2025) – The authorities have arrested 25-year-old Cesar Ramirez Castro and two others following an Interstate 10 deadly DUI crash Saturday night.

The fatal crash between a pickup truck and a car happened past 7 p.m. near Bowen Road.

When the rescuers arrived at the scene, they extinguished a car that fully engulfed in flames and discovered the body of a 22-year-old man inside.

According to the investigators, the car was stopped along the inside shoulder of the freeway when the pickup truck driven by Castro swerved off from the eastbound lanes and rear-ended the car. 

The impact of the collision caused the car to strike a concrete wall and burst into flames. 

Witnesses said they saw Castro and his two passengers exit the pickup truck and run away.

The authorities later located Cesar Ramirez Castro and booked him into the Arlington City Jail on one count of intoxication manslaughter and one count of collision involving death.

Moreover, Castro’s two passengers, 30-year-old Marcelino Ramirez-Ramirez, and 24-year-old Daniel Castro Zammarron, were also arrested and booked into the Arlington City Jail on one count of public intoxication.
