One Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision at Kirksville Intersection
Kirksville, MO (August 6, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash in Kirksville sent 26-year-old Chanse Nichol to the hospital with minor injuries Monday afternoon.
According to Kirksville police, the collision happened just after 3 p.m. at the intersection with West Potter Avenue. Reports say that both drivers claimed to have had a green light at the time of the crash.
Officials say that Nichol was heading east on Potter Avenue and attempted to turn right at the intersection when another vehicle struck his car. Meanwhile, 51-year-oldValorie Ferry was driving south on Osteopathy and said Nichol cut her off as she proceeded through the intersection.
Paramedics transported Nichol to a local hospital with pain-related complaints. No other injuries were reported.
