Three Injured in Serious Crash at Plano Intersection

Plano, TX (September 7, 2026) — Three people, including a pedestrian, suffered injuries after a serious multi-vehicle crash on Avenue K Saturday afternoon in Plano.

The collision occurred around 3:15 p.m. at East Parker Road and Avenue K. Police said a silver Ford Explorer was traveling at a high speed when it crossed the center median and entered the westbound lanes, striking a pedestrian on the median. The impact threw the pedestrian into an eastbound vehicle.

The Explorer continued through the intersection and crashed into five vehicles stopped at Avenue K, damaging seven vehicles in total.

The pedestrian, the Explorer’s driver, and another driver went to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities had not released their conditions.

Police temporarily closed nearby roads while crews investigated the crash and cleared the scene. The Plano Police Traffic Unit is handling the investigation.
