Chevrolet Driver Dead in Vasco Road 2-Vehicle Crash [Alameda County, CA]

Alameda County, CA (May 10, 2026) – A woman driving a Chevrolet Cobalt was killed in a Vasco Road 2-vehicle crash Thursday night.

It was past 11 p.m. when the deadly crash happened at the intersection with Old Vasco Road, near Dublin.

Troopers said the Chevrolet Cobalt was northbound on Vasco Road when it collided with a GMC Canyon pickup truck that was turning left from Old Vasco onto southbound Vasco Road.

Rescuers rushed the Cobalt driver to a local hospital with major injuries, but she later died. 

The occupants of the pickup were also injured and were transported to the hospital.

Officers are conducting a further investigation into the fatal crash.
