4-year-Old Girl Hospitalized After Bicycle Crash on Golf Vista Boulevard in San Antonio
San Antonio, TX (October 2, 2025)— A 4-year-old girl was hospitalized after a bicycle she was riding with her father was struck by a vehicle in a crash on Golf Vista Boulevard on Thursday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 3:10 p.m. near the intersection of Golf Vista Boulevard and Woodlake Parkway, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO).
Deputies reported that the father and daughter were riding southbound in the northbound lane on the sidewalk when the crash happened.
A driver turning northbound from Golf Vista stopped at a stop sign, looked both directions, and began to proceed when the bicycle entered the roadway, leading to a collision.
A nurse who witnessed the crash immediately rendered aid and transported the injured child to Baptist Emergency Hospital, which was located nearby.
The girl was later transferred to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, including a head injury and several scrapes.
Authorities confirmed that the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
No charges are expected to be filed.
