Christanne Banks of Hemet Dies in Tragic Crash on 215 Freeway [Perris, CA]

Perris, CA (May 28, 2024) Early Monday morning, 31-year-old Christanne Banks of Hemet died after a horrific pedestrian accident on the Escondido (215) Freeway.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 3 a.m. on the southbound 215 north of Nuevo Road.

Reports say that a vehicle struck Banks while she was running into the roadway. Witnesses say that a man was seen asking for help after his wife was struck by a vehicle.

First responders arrived and declared Banks dead at the scene.

CHP is investigating the fatal tragedy and has not released further details at this time.
