Deadly Hit-and-Run Crash in Black Diamond Under Further Investigation
Black Diamond, WA (July 29, 2026) – Christopher Banchero, 27, from Seattle, was fatally injured following a Third Avenue hit-and-run crash late Saturday night.
The deadly vehicle collision happened before 11 p.m. near the intersection with Jones Lake Road.
Police said the suspect turned himself in and that they has taken possession of his vehicle, a blue Mazda 3.
In the meantime, police officers are conducting a further investigation into the deadly crash.
