33-Year-Old Christopher Shick Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Yale Street [Hemet, CA]

Hemet, CA (June 17, 2025) – 33-year-old Christopher Shick of Hemet tragically lost his life in a 2-vehicle crash on Yale Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash happened at around 11 p.m. near Acacia Avenue.

Reports say that a pickup truck turning in front of a motorcycle caused a fatal collision.

The crash claimed the life of 33-year-old Shick of Hemet. Authorities say that Shick was riding his Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 southbound on Yale Street when a Ford F-150 traveling northbound turned left onto Acacia Avenue.

The motorcycle crashed into the passenger side of the pickup, ejecting Shick onto the roadway. He died at the scene.

The pickup driver, who was not injured, stopped immediately and called 911.

Authorities, including CHP officers, sheriff’s deputies, and paramedics, responded within 15 minutes.

CHP confirmed the driver was questioned but not arrested. The investigation remains ongoing.
