Claudia Jeanne Hefley Dies in Single-Car Crash on Interstate 8 [San Diego, CA]

San Diego, CA (February 15, 2022) – On Saturday, 51-year-old Claudia Jeanne Hefley and another lost their lives in a single-car crash on Interstate 8.

The fatal incident took place on February 12, west of the Old Highway 80 underpass near Lakeside.

Officers received a report of a wrecked vehicle on the northern embankment of the westbound freeway.

When they arrived at the scene, the responding officers found Hefley in the back passenger seat of the vehicle. 

Similarly, they located another occupant in the driver’s seat. 

The authorities declared Hefley and the driver dead at the crash scene.

Meanwhile, police are investigating the fatal collision.
