Clayton Chiapuzio Injured in Fatal Wrong-Way Crash on the 101 Freeway [Los Angeles, CA]

Jordan Del Carmen Dead, Clayton Chiapuzio Hospitalized in 101 Freeway Head-On Crash in Hollywood

Los Angeles, CA (October 08, 2020) – On Thursday, Jordan Del Carmen, 24, died, while Clayton Chiapuzio, 33, sustained injuries in a wrong-way crash on the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway in Hollywood.

Subsequently, the freeway was inoperational for four hours due to the deadly 2-vehicle crash that happened at about 1 a.m.

Additionally, the CHP report says, the fatal accident happened near the Hollywood Boulevard exit when a driver was seen going southbound in the northbound lanes.

Moreover, lanes going north are impassible during the incident but has been operational after around 4:45 a.m.

At the moment, authorities did not release the name of the deceased wrong-way driver, only stating he was a 24-year-old Paramount man.

Meanwhile, rescuers took the other motorist, Clayton Chiapuzio of Newbury Park in Ventura County, to a hospital in critical condition.
