Phoenix, AZ (March 29, 2026) — Early Saturday morning, 31-year-old Dajahnea Pollard lost her life after a head-on collision near 75th Avenue involving a semi-truck in west Phoenix.

According to authorities, the crash happened around 3:30 a.m. near 75th Avenue and Buckeye Road, where emergency crews came upon the wreckage involving a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck.

Investigators determined that Pollard had been driving southbound when her vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic for reasons that remain unclear. Her car then collided head-on with the semi.
