Authorities Search for Driver After Lake Stickney Hit-and-Run Injures Motorcyclist
Lake Stickney, WA (February 3, 2026) — Deputies in Snohomish County continue to search for the driver involved in a hit-and-run collision on Airport Road that injured a motorcyclist Friday night.
According to authorities, the collision happened around 10 p.m., prompting officers to shut down Airport Road near Admiralty Way for several hours while investigators examined the scene. The roadway later reopened once the investigation concluded.
Paramedics transported the injured motorcyclist to a local hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening before transferring the patient to a Seattle medical center for further care. Investigators have not yet released details about what caused the crash.
Authorities believe the suspect vehicle is a dark gray sedan with significant damage to the driver’s side bumper, which may be missing. Deputies urge anyone who witnessed the incident or captured dash camera footage to contact the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office tip line.
Let’s Drive Safer Together
High-speed crashes can occur in the blink of an eye, but so many are preventable with small, intelligent decisions. Pay attention, don’t get distracted (say, by texting) and never drive after drinking. As ever – obey speed limits, buckle up and keep plenty of room between yourself and other vehicles. These are small enough measures to save lives — including your own.
We can all take steps to help keep our roads safe for ourselves, our families and our communities.
Sweet Lawyers reminds all drivers to remain at the scene after a collision and call for help immediately. Hit-and-run crashes put lives at risk and can delay critical medical care. If you are injured in an accident, seek medical attention right away and learn about your legal rights.
Life After a Traffic Accident
The truth is, a crash doesn’t end when the wreckage is cleared away. For many, it’s just the beginning of a long and difficult road to recovery. Injuries can range from minor bruises to life-changing trauma, and the emotional toll can be just as heavy — stress, anxiety, or even the fear of driving again. Add medical bills, lost wages, and other financial worries, and it can all feel overwhelming.
If you’ve been in an accident, knowing your rights matters. You deserve to focus on your healing — not the paperwork and legal headaches. That’s where Sweet Lawyers comes in. Our team is here to handle the tough parts so you can focus on getting better and rebuilding your life.
When someone’s careless or negligent actions cause harm, the impact ripples through families and communities. But you don’t have to go through it alone. At Sweet Lawyers, we’ve helped countless people get back on their feet, providing not just legal guidance, but compassion, understanding, and genuine support every step of the way.
